Ruth Ann Dibble brings more than three decades of insurance experience to KDL Insurance, with a deep understanding of the agricultural community she’s served her entire life. Raised on a farm near Dovray, Minnesota—where her parents and her brother still farm—Ruth Ann has always been deeply rooted in rural life. She began her insurance career in 1987 at Westbrook State Bank, and in January 2001, joined Crop Insurance Specialists in Slayton. She remained a steady, trusted presence as the agency evolved into KDL Insurance LLC, continuing to serve producers with the same level of care and dedication.
With a strong belief in treating others the way she'd want to be treated, Ruth Ann takes pride in helping local farmers protect their livelihoods.
“We don’t just sell policies—we live the same life,” she says.
Married to Donn, who has been part of a family farming operation his entire life, and now watching her three sons farm alongside them, Ruth Ann understands firsthand the challenges, rewards, and importance of preserving a farming legacy.

Known for her quiet dedication and behind-the-scenes service, Ruth Ann has spent countless hours volunteering for local organizations and serving on a variety of boards and committees over the years. She believes that true community comes from simply being there when someone needs a hand. She values the strong connections and sense of purpose that come from living in a small town where friends, neighbors, and family all pitch in and support one another.
With three sons and a brother who served in the Army, a father who was a Marine during the Korean conflict, and many friends, cousins, uncles, and a niece who have also worn the uniform, Ruth Ann holds a deep appreciation for veterans and their service. Supporting those who serve and honoring their commitment is a value she carries with great pride—both personally and professionally.
Outside of work, Ruth Ann enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren, attending their events, camping, fishing, quilting, and her newest hobby—golfing.
